 AIRPORTS IN MEXICO CITY

Benito Juárez International Airport (AICM)


Located about 8–12 km from the city center. It has two terminals connected by a free inter-terminal train.

Felipe Ángeles International Airport (AIFA)


Located approximately 45 km from downtown. It serves both national and international flights, especially low-cost carriers.

TRANSPORTATION FROM AIRPORTS

 

From AICM:

  • Uber / Didi / Cabify: Allowed. Request your ride via the app after collecting your luggage.
     

  • Authorized taxis: Buy a ticket at the official booths inside the airport.
     

  • Metrobús Line 4: Departs from both terminals and connects to the Historic Center.
     

From AIFA:

  • Authorized taxis and ride-hailing apps: Available. Allow extra time due to the distance.
     

  • Express buses connect AIFA with northern and central Mexico City (check schedules).
     

  • Suburban train: A direct connection is planned for future years; currently not operational.

Mexico City has one of the most extensive public transport systems in Latin America — ideal for affordable and efficient travel:

  • Fare: $5.00 MXN per ride
     

  • Access card: Tarjeta de Movilidad Integrada, available at any station
     

  • Nearest line to the venue will be announced with the final location
     

  • Hours:
     

    • Mon–Fri: 5:00 am – 12:00 am
       

    • Sat: 6:00 am – 12:00 am
       

    • Sun: 7:00 am – 12:00 am
       

🟥 METROBÚS

  • Fare: $6.00 MXN per ride
     

  • Ideal for long distances and major avenues
     

  • Connects to AICM via Line 4 and many tourist areas
     

🚌 RTP & TROLEBÚS

  • Complementary routes between different zones
     

  • Fare: $4–6 MXN
